Resisting Borders will be hosted as a virtual conference on October 9 – 11, 2017.
By hosting this as a virtual conference, we will be able to allow people from around the world to participate, regardless of their location, financial resources, or visa and immigration status.
This conference will use video, audio, and text to allow speakers and participants to interact online in a synchronous fashion, enabling them to explore the ethical, legal, philosophical, and social issues associated with refugee and migrant health without being located together physically.
All of the online tools used as part of the Resisting Borders virtual conference are designed to work with both PC and Macintosh computers with an Internet connection. Headphones or speakers will be required to hear the live session audio.
There is no cost or registration fee to participate but online registration is required.
More information about this conference, including the program and logistical requirements, will be forthcoming.
